I consider myself to be more of a savory than a sweet kind of gal. I will usually take tortilla chips and salsa over chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream any day. However, sometimes I just need a chocolate fix.
Check out this delicious Sunday sweet treat!
Ingredients| Vegan Chocolate Covered Banana Dessert Hummus
1 can chickpeas (drained)
1/4 cup unsweet cocoa powder
4 tbsp. maple syrup
3 tbsp. tahini
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup almond milk
1 ripe banana
1 pinch sea salt
Place all ingredients in blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Add more almond milk as needed for consistency.
Serve with fresh strawberries.
